Hello, internet. I'm making a practice website because my job is boring. This little project gives me something different and interesting to think about during work breaks.
Since there needs to be content to practice with, I'm creating some pages with information related to Pokémon; specifically, managing your Pokémon collection on the Switch, such as guides for less-well-documented features of Pokémon Home.
If anyone visits this site and is interested in viewing some of the content, you will find that the majority of the pages are unfinished. I do, however, have a complete guide for how to obtain egg moves on your Pokémon without breeding in Scarlet/Violet. I also have a mostly-functional EV training planner.
Ideas for things I could make/do for future practice include:
- Detailed move info lookup + interesting interactions
- Cross-generation transfer guides
- Stat mechanics explanations
- EV hotspots guide
- EV suggester for raid use
- Breeding guides
- IV calculator because Metalkid stopped updating his and it was the best one :(
- Guide to Home features: symbols (origin stamp, etc)
- Event proofing/collector's guides
- I don't want to focus on competitive content or rng/shiny/mark/ribbon collecting because there's already so much of it
- Maybe Battle Tower stuff though since it's harder to find these days outside of the discord and Smogon thread
- Personal section to show off my own collection?
- Update entry on the Ribbon Master HoF
